Helsinki is the design capital of the world for 2012. The pop-up store in the historical Old Customs Warehouse is open as part of the celebration of Finnish design.
Your purchases can be delivered to your door the next day, or some small items can be purchased in store.
The Old Customs Warehouse was built at the turn of the 20th century to accommodate the needs of the seaborne trade in Helsinki. It has been little used for 40 years. It is great to see it given a new life.

Now that is a shop I would love to see.
There are many good things to buy in Helsinki…if only I had luggage space.

Thank you for that
Very cute….I would have a lovely time. Enjoy the cool Debra! You deserve it! Jxx
Finnish design is fabulous.
I love the loft look of it. As if you’re just checking out someone’s garage. It must be oroviding that friendly, welcoming atmosphere to it rather than feeling the sometimes exhausting shopping.
The space was great…and they have a cafe.
Helsinki looks inviting, great pictures!
¡Preciosas imágenes! me encantaría estar hay!!
Thank you.
