Urho Kaleva Kekkonen was president of Finland from 1956 until 1981.
His monument in Hakasalmi Park was unveiled on the centenary of his birth on September 3, 2000. It was designed by Pekka Jylha.
The tear shaped pool is lit from below and is heated to prevent the water from freezing in winter. The 5 bronze hands sit atop 8 metre posts.
The water might stay warm, but those hands must get cold.
Look for the monument in Hakasalmi Park, not far from Finlandia Hall.
