I came across Knit ‘n’ Tag, a delightful collection of “knitted graffiti” in the lovely park in front of Vanha Kirkko.
Knit ‘n’ Tag is a collective work of art everyone has been able to contribute to. The idea is too encourage people to participate in developing their own environment.
The knit graffitis have been prepared during spring and summer at the Youth Department’s workshops as well as by many private persons and communities.
I think they are great fun….come for a walk through the park with me.
The knitted art is on display at Vanha Kirkko in Bulevardi until September 27. Don’t miss it if you are in Helsinki.
