The iconic Finnish glassware, iittala, is 100 years old. They have turned blue to celebrate.
The window in Esplanadi looked amazing when I wandered past.
Here’s to the next 100 years.

Seems so beautiful, I love blue in glass… Thank you, have a nice day, Love, nia
The blue looks wonderful.
Aren’t their displays lovely and such beautiful colour in the glass.
The window displays are wonderful.
I quite like the blue, I only just noticed some of these plates in the stores. It’s to celebrate Finland’s 100 years of Independence this year 🙂
I know that it is the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence this year. I think it is later in the year. My grandfather left for Australia in 1912, a few years before it happened.
Wow imagine the trip to Australia back in the day from back here 🙂
