There is a tiny cafe in Unionkatu, HKI+, beside the information centre, where you can have a great coffee and sweet treat. It is owned by Javier Salcedo from Mexico.

The South American coffee is sourced from local roastery, Cafetoria. There are chocolates from Fazer and delicious pastries from a local bakery.

Espresso Edge has been serving coffee and delicious snacks for 8 years in Liisankatu street. It uses fair trade products and attracts an international clientele.

This summer the cafe is featuring vintage tourism and travel posters from the “Come to Finland” poster collection.

The reflection on the posters makes it difficult to get a good photo, so here are the postcards which you can buy for €2 at the cafe.

The coffee is good and it is a great place for people watching….the posters are fun too.
